Summary/Abstract: From the sixteenth century, influenced by the attainment of Romanian national unity, under the rule of prince Mihai Viteazul (1593 - 1601), begins the gradual liberation of the Romanian culture from the heavy tutelage of the Slavonic language, by multiplying the translations of the liturgical books into Romanian and, inevitably, replacing the Slavonic and Greek languages from the divine cult, in the Romanian Principalities. Of course, to this linguistic reform subscribed all the Romanian melods and cantors.
