Summary/Abstract: In this study, we will present the emergence of the sociology of deviance, a branch of general sociology in scientific-academic terms. Since its inception, the sociology of deviance has focused on monitoring and interpreting the deviant manifestations of individuals in the social space. Following numerous theories and definitions from the great sociologists and criminologists, the sociology of deviance has left its mark on the understanding, definition and explanation of facts considered violations of the norms and values of a human society.
