Summary/Abstract: The exponential increase in the number of deviant acts generates multiple social dysfunctions and requires the association of their sciences, theories and ideas, with the main purpose of clarifying the foundations, characteristics and causes underlying the commission of deviant acts both individually and socially. In the first part of this article I will make some clarifications on the definition and scientific significance of social deviance, and in the second, I will try to present in a concise form the fusion between sociological science and other sciences that, over time, they have concretized common empirical-investigative approaches that have contributed to explaining the meanings and implications of the disruptive behaviors of social actors.
