The Relation Between Documentary and Fiction int the Contemporary Cinema in Central-Eastern Europe

Summary/Abstract: A self-redefi nition of cinematographic realism has taken place in Central and Eastern Europe during the first decade of the 21st century, due to social, political and economical events following the regime change as well as spreading of digital fi lm technology. The present study offers guidelines to interpretation of fi lms created in the given region and period.
