In an audiovisual creation, to be understood what the author wants to be understood from the picture, the attention of the audience needs guidance along the surface of the image. The main subject of the shot needs to become the visually dominant element of the frame. The article threats about how the technical elements connected to the use of the film camera can manipulate the attention of the audience. It is in fact analyzing the structural element of the film image in the context of the interaction of the different technical factors.
