Summary/Abstract: Teaching a foreign language in a heterogeneous class is a challenge for the teacher who must consider both the efficient management of time and the possibility that progress will appear slower than in the classroom whose level is homogeneous. The study of a foreign language involves different situations with regard to the audience. Teaching French as a foreign language means the presence of learners who have the same mother tongue (Romanian), a situation which allows teachers to use the mother tongue to compare the two languages and better understand specific difficulties in phonetics, but also in grammar A particularity is encountered when the learners do not have the same mother tongue, the same nationality and their culture is different. Using new technology represents an advantage for the multi-level classroom because the learner is placed in almost real communication situations, he can manage his pace of work according to the skills targeted. By using new technologies, the teacher acts as facilitator, a guide in the discovery and progressive mastery of knowledge and skills.
