Summary/Abstract: Giftedness is a special human manifestation that has in common the exceptionality and is achieved by combining intellectual abilities and special skills with certain personality traits. The gifted student is a subject with an above-average intellectual capacity, observing cognitive differences in quantitative and qualitative level, having a maturity inappropriate to age (perception and visual memory), developing metacognitive ability at an early age, creative talent, intrinsic motivation for learning, precocity. Gifted children need higher education programs or services that are usually found in school curricula in order to contribute to society. These children may be able to achieve high goals, but have not yet demonstrated their potential, so it is important to identify them, encourage them to participate and do great activities with other children, and encourage them to learn effectively.
