The future of project management in non profit organizations

Summary/Abstract: The article addresses research directions related to project management in non profit organizations (NPO). The considerations presented indicate future trends that may interest researchers and practi- tioners dealing with project management issues in non profit organizations. A literature review and study of the area under discussion were conducted. A narrative literature review method was used. This approach made it possible to identify the current state of knowledge in the area of project management in non profit organizations. It also made it possible to identify the latest trends about changes in the environment of non profit organizations and their internal organization. The considerations presented are based on an analysis of texts of scientific publications relating to non profit organizations operat- ing in Poland. The presented article provides a better understanding of research needs in the field of project management in non profit organizations.
