Summary/Abstract: After a long wait, on November 14, 2016, the first two M-346 aircraft landed at the 41st Air Training Base in Dęblin. This day marked a new chapter in the history of Polish military aviation, and more specifically in the aviation training of young adept pilots from the “School of Eaglets”. The M-346 “Bielik” is a very technically advanced aircraft, automated and equipped with electronic operator support. Coherently with the compatible training system, it is a magnum opus of aviation, engineering and IT thought. Knowledge of the specificity of its operation may affect the reliability and operational readiness and may determine the safety of flight training. The technical and logistic staff had to master completely new operational strategies and procedures in order to keep the aircraft and the entire related infrastructure in full technical condition. Only selected safety procedures are discussed in the material, as the entire aircraft operation process is quite complex.
