Summary/Abstract: The opinion assesses the situation of citizens’ access to water and sanitation systems and the qual‑ ity of water supplied to them by water supply systems in Poland since the adoption of the resolu‑ tion of the United Nations General Assembly of 28th July 2010 Recognizing the Human Right to Water and Sanitation. The provisions regulating the right of citizens to the common use of water and access to water services (including, inter alia, collection and treatment of wastewater), as well as requirements for the quality of water intended for human consumption, were analysed.
