Summary/Abstract: In July 2023, several legislative acts were published in the Official Gazette, among which we mention: Law no. 199/2023 on higher education; GEO no. 67/2023 on the establishment of a temporary measure to combat the excessive increase in the prices of some agricultural and food products; Decision of the Plenum of the Superior Council of Magistracy no. 114/2023 approving the Regulation on admission to the National Institute of Magistracy; ECHR judgment of 24 July 2018 in the case of V. v. Romania (Application no. 80.784/13). A number of other regulations were also amended in July, including: Order of the Director General of the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity no. 1255/2023 on the modification and completion of the Regulation on the reception and registration in the cadastre and land registers, approved by Order of the Director General of the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity no. 600/2023; Criminal Code, Law no. 682/2002 on witness protection, Law no. 187/2012 for the implementation of Law no. 286/2009 on the Criminal Code, Law no. 254/2013 on the execution of sentences and measures of deprivation of liberty ordered by judicial bodies in the course of criminal proceedings; Criminal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure; Law no. 248/2005 on the regime of free movement of Romanian citizens abroad; Tax Code. Not least, the Official Gazette of July also published he ECHR judgment of 30 August 2022 in the case of P. v. Romania (Application No. 13.326/18).
