Interconfessional relations in a rural Moldavian community

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of a social anthropological study conducted in a rural community in Moldova (Romania). The aim of this study was to identify local specificity. The study population was predominantly mature and of advanced age. From the methodological perspective, quantitative methods were used. The results highlight the reporting manner of the members of the majority Roman Catholic community towards the members of the community of other denominations or face strangers, and the conclusions can constitute premises for the further development of the social community’s capital.
