Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents the results of a social anthropology study conducted in a distinctive community located between two major historical regions of Romania. The investigated population covers all age categories. The aim of the study is to highlight the social capital that the community enjoys. From a methodological point of view, we used quantitative methods. The results highlight the specifics of the social capital of the local community, and the conclusions may constitute premises for the further development of the community, based on this type of capital.
