Leadership in the Context of Sustainable Development of the Enterprise

Summary/Abstract: Implementation of the concept of sustainability is becoming one of the key challenges for modern companies. The answer to this challenge is the development of the concept of sustainable leadership. The purpose of this study is to answer the question of what sustainable leadership is and at what levels it can be studied. For the purpose of the adopted goal, an analysis of the literature on the subject was carried out using the method of narrative literature review. The literature research led to the conclusion that sustainable leadership is a response to the need to implement the idea of sustainable development, and is a system whose individual elements strive to achieve the common goal of sustainable development. The concept of sustainable leadership can be analyzed at three levels: the level of the individual, the organization, and the environment.
