Summary/Abstract: Anatol Emilian Baconsky is a writer whose destiny turns him into a true literary case. He has an oscillating evolution which goes from dogmatic poetry, in accordance with the requirements of the new communist regime established at the beginning of the ’50s, to revolt and protest. At the first Congress of Writers from the P.R.R. from June 18 to 23, 1956, makes a courageous public gesture and holds a word, accusing socialist-realism in poetry, including his works. He goes through various metamorphoses, but will find his end in the earthquake of 1977, together with his wife and other friends.
