Summary/Abstract: This article presents several documents related to Polish refugees in Dolj County in the autumn of 1939. The first of these historical testimonies comes from the collections of the History-Archaeology Section of the Oltenia Museum, a document describing the arrival of a group of Polish refugees in Craiova at the beginning of October 1939. The other documents, relating to the number of refugees and the measures taken by the local authorities to deal with them, were found in the collections held by SJAN Dolj.
