Summary/Abstract: Grigoryi Skovoroda is a man of free spaces, of infinite horizons, where he can freely develop his thoughts. By contemplating nature, he is unrestrained in his search for Truth, allowing him to question preconceptions and traditional prejudices. In relation to himself, he was entirely uncompromising and therefore achieved complete harmony between his teaching and his life. In his works, Skovoroda hardly quotes anyone and refers to no one. This solitary traveller is, above all, a teacher: he wants to feel the presence of an interlocutor in order to exert on him the seduction in which truth springs forth gradually, like tongues of fire. His text is nourished, sometimes even enriched by biblical quotations, mythology, symbols and allegories.
