Summary/Abstract: The area of social services is considerably extensive and involves a range of various activities from simple processes to complex operations conducted by computers. Various organizations are engaged in providing social services - sole proprietors, partnerships as well as international companies, both profit and non-profit organizations. However, most of the services are provided by the state (education, justice, defence, security, health, social sector, etc.). Organizations providing these services will have to implement quality and effective marketing strategies in order to succeed in the changing environment. The marketing of social services has a number of special features resulting from the nature of these services.
