Summary/Abstract: Employee appraisal is one of the crucial functions performed by human resources management. Th e sophisticated employee appraisal system is a valuable instument for employee qualification and career development, motivation as well as renumeration. It becomes an important factor affecting business performance as well as its competitive advantage. However only an objective employee appraisal based on facts and measurable, comparable and specificly identifiable figures can performe this function.
