Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this study is the detailed characterization of pricing methods used by service companies operating on the Polish market. In the first part of the article basic elements of pricing and business strategies most frequently used on the services market in Poland are discussed and presented. The second part of the article presents the results of studies carried out in the area of pricing of products. The results of the research were obtained under a grant of the Minister of Science and Higher Education entitled: Status and development of marketing in companies operating on the Polish market. The research was focused on the analysis of the corporate sector service. Because of a much broader range of research it was possible to provide information about service companies in comparison to other businesses.
