ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION OF LANGUAGE SKILLS

Summary/Abstract: The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) developed by the Council of Europe in order to obtain a vast uniformity in the field of foreign language learning all over the European Union, is the European standard that identifies the level of foreign language learning. The students of the Technical University need a foreign language proficiency certificate in order to enroll in the bachelor's degree examination. The foreign language proficiency certificate certifies the student's skill of using any foreign language in current everyday situations. The certificate lists the student's levels of knowledge in all five standards skills (understanding the spoken language/ understanding the written text / oral expression / written performance / conversation) and the European level the student reached.
