Summary/Abstract: Financial reports are generated by processing financial data part of a database, which usually is integrated in Excel application or more sophisticated and professional Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) which can be SQL Server, Oracle etc. Business companies make use of these applications to make evident several operations as accounting, book keeping, financial reporting, payrolls, payments etc. Despite these operations there is some information, resulting from managerial activities, that can not or shouldn’t be recorded in the financial database but that are necessary to be highlighted for management reasons. If a company undertakes several projects, which go through a number of stages, it is necessary to make evident the level of fulfillment of each stage. For this, we can make use of information technology specifically Cloud Computing. We can record, process and report the needed information which is then used by managerial levels. Management can control the process of every stage, compare them with the project schedule, interfere once that variances are noticed or change plans if a stage is not responding. This paper is about the new information technologies implementations by making use of mobile telecommunication technology specifically the mobile phone devices such as Android and Smart phones. We aim to conclude that project management is highly eased by technology development. To reach our goal we have taken into account a business scenario, based in an Albanian company. Author’s experience in information and management fields and the foreign authors studies are core to reach the conclusion. At the end, we have come to some conclusions hoping that we have gone a step forward and have contributed in this matter.
