Some modern technologies for the implementation of an application on web

Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is the presentation of a complete and short material that represents some modern technologies that all together work for the creation of a Web Application. A complete example is considered. Eclipse is used as an environment for the development of the application, Apache Tomcat is used to manage the request-response through the browser, Maven is used for the configuration of the application, Hibernate is used to simplify the programmer work for the link and communication with a database, and SQL Server is used as Database Management System. The application inserts some data into a database through Web using the servlets.
