Summary/Abstract: Servlets and JSPs bring significant advantage to web applications. They play the role of an application controller and interface on a web application. The application logic is inside the model. On the other hand, the servlets and JSPs perform specific tasks. A Servlet controls the processes and the communication between the components. A JSP is mainly used to provide the views of the results. Thus we use more html than java code inside a JSP. A simple concrete example is given with all the steps to create a web application. This can help the students without experience in this field but with experience in programming. For this reason too, Eclipse is chosen as a work environment. It helps a lot the organization of the files inside a project.
