SOBRE LOS NIVELES DE CORRESPONDENCIA SINTÁCTICA EN LA FRASEOLOGÍA ESPAÑOLA Y RUMANA
On levels of syntactic correspondence in Spanish and Romanian phraseology

Summary/Abstract: The article proposes a classification of Spanish verbal idioms containing names of body parts, and their semantic equivalents in Romanian, in terms of cross-linguistic transparency and internal morphological and syntactic structure. By using proportional distributions, a pyramid of opaqueness and a range of transparency coefficients, we suggest a hierarchical presentation of phraseological structures, according to their cross-linguistic transparency. In our opinion, such a tool would be useful for teaching Spanish phraseology to Romanian students.
