Semantic correspondences in Spanish and Romanian phraseology

Summary/Abstract: The article proposes a classification of semantic correspondences between Spanish verbal idioms containing names of body parts and their lexicographic equivalents in Romanian, according to the mentioned corpus. Starting from the principles of componential analysis, a classification of semantic correspondence (total, partial, zero) is proposed. The article also enlarges upon phraseological calques, phraseological motivation, asymmetric polysemy, etc.
