Summary/Abstract: In the 21st century, in the context of the change in the educational paradigm, teachers and students become more involved in the didactic act. In the present approach, I proposed an analysis of the project-based learning technique, offering an example of application to the history discipline taught in a high school class. The model exemplifies the use of different tasks, grouped in a project whose final products aim to achieve the eight key European competences. The entire didactic strategy trains students in active learning that promotes collaboration, critical thinking, communication, creativity, digital literacy.
