Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The article explores the dynamic technological development of contemporarysociety, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) in education. It examines how the implementation of AI is transforming the educational process, making it more accessible, flexible, and efficient. The article highlights the challenges, including ethical ones, brought by the integration of AI in education. It presents existing tools that utilize AI in teaching and inspires reflection on its potential in shaping future generations’ education. Research method – An integrated research approach was employed, combining descriptive, comparative, and expository analysis methods to ensure a thorough and multi‑‑faceted understanding of the role and potential of artificial intelligence in education. Additionally, to obtain a comprehensive picture of current trends, a desk research method was used, analyzing existing data and literature. The discussions utilized inductive reasoning, allowing for the drawing of general conclusions from observed data. Results – Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize teaching and learning, requiring educational systems to rapidly adapt to changing technologies and modify current educational practices, which will significantly impact the future of teaching. Originality / value / implications / recommendations – The article contributes to the discussion on the role of AI in education, encouraging reflection on its long‑‑term impact on the education of future generations. It emphasizes the need to introduce AI‑‑based innovations in the educational sector as a means to develop future skills.
