Summary/Abstract: The university can have the role of agent of promoting inclusive values, with echo on the change of mentality and attitude of all actors in the academic community towards students with disabilities and/or special educational needs. But the inclusion of students with disabilities in Higher Education does not come by itself, but must be discussed, researched, accepted and implemented step by step according to specific steps and measures. In this article, we mention some useful measures to be adopted by higher education institutions in order to include students with disabilities and valorize their individual potential.
