Summary/Abstract: The report reviews the possibilities for implementing social innovations as an instrument for improvement of quality of life in small settlements in Bulgaria and other European countries, focusing on social inequality and depopulation in remote areas. Good practices of social innovation related to solving local problems by using online tools related to social policy are analyzed. The author examines the contribution of social innovations to improving the quality of life in small settlements.
