Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the role of advocacy as a mechanism for overcoming the barriers faced by social enterprises. It examines its main forms and specific manifestations in Bulgaria, as well as successful international practices that could be adapted for use in the country. The analysis highlights how active advocacy can contribute to the creation of a more favorable legislative framework, facilitate access to funding, and enhance public understanding and engagement with the mission of social enterprises
