Summary/Abstract: Numerous studies have addressed the issue of gender stereotypes within companies, focusing on male perceptions of roles and gender equality in the workplace. This study aims to analyze women's self-stereotyping within companies, exploring the mechanisms of self-censorship that persist as a result. To this end, a quantitative survey was carried out among 62 female employees in various Moroccan SMEs, to gather their perceptions on topics such as the pay gap, representation in positions of responsibility, work-life balance and professional skills. The results of this study reveal that culturally ingrained gender self-stereotypes associated with masculine and feminine roles persist among women, contributing to inequalities in access to positions of responsibility and the management of work-life balance.
