Summary/Abstract: This contribution proposes to examine the manifestations of otherness in the works of the Moroccan Jewish writer and novelist Edmond Amran El Maleh. El Maleh treats this question not only as an ethical and ontological question, but also as a discursive problem that imposes itself on the creator, in its linguistic and literary dimensions, and puts him in the face of linguistic and literary otherness. Being himself at the confluence of various cultures: Moroccan, Jewish, Amazigh, Arabic and French, he wanted to make the project of writing an exercise in otherness and meditation on the issue of scriptural otherness.
