Summary/Abstract: This article offers a comparative analysis of two stories of experiences of women crossed in their chair by the phallocentric gaze and discourse of the other-masculine, obscuring their being-in-the-world/presence via the prism of the sexual and gestational dimensions of their body. This study will attempt to see to what extent the writing of the "I" of Camille Laurens in Celle que vous croyez and that of Touria Oulehri in La fureur d'aimer participate in a questioning of the submission/domination dyad, which contains a deconstruction of the control over the female body and representations of femininity in patriarchal societies.
