Summary/Abstract: The syncretism of the arts represents a natural fusion of them where they mutually influence each other. The result of an art gives birth to a new work... in this case we can say that the unification of the two arts takes place - a good composer will be able to enliven the text of a poem... Creative imagination, respectively the relationship between composer-performer-audience are the basis of the transmission of the musical message. The present article brings to the fore two works from the flute repertoire, Old Song by Paul Constantinescu and Pastel de Toamnă by Vasile Jianu. The two works are briefly presented, and their analysis approaches the elements of musical language with the help of which the composers penned the artistic message.
