EU funds for sustainable development – barriers in obtaining and accounting on the example of municipalities of Łódź Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: Development that occurred in the area of sustainable development, environment and natural resources and their rational use is the result of a functioning system of financing these areas based on the sources mainly from abroad, mainly from the European Union. This article presents a group of problems faced by local government units wishing to obtain EU funds to be able to finance the investments falling within the scope of sustainable development.
