Selected problems of onshore wind farms location in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The solution of investment problems of wind powers is a chance on the improvement of state of natural environment and the efficiency of energy economy as well as the fulfillment of the European Union requirements to the year 2020. The article discusses selected problems of wind farms location (environmental, social, economic, legal), their identification and analysis. The problems of location are one of the first the investor comes into and their overcoming decides about the beginning or the end of investment. Therefore they are so essential and worth consideration.
