TYPOLOGY OF ALBANIAN FOLK BALLAD

Summary/Abstract: Regarding the typology of Albanian folk ballad, it should be emphasized that extreme boundaries between three Albanian folk ballad types analyzed by now in broader relations among lyric, epic and dramatic structures, remain open. This openness has always two contradicting directions, towards the expansion of narrative – objective presentation of poetic reality and towards emotional experiencing – its subjectivism. With the purpose to simply be able to do practical studying, this typology of Albanian folk ballad, founded on structural building of its epic, lyric and dramatic components, is made.
