New possibilities for studying the situation on the labour market

Summary/Abstract: General numbers and unemployment rates, persons active and inactive are generally not sufficient indicators to characterize the local labour market, which is characterized by a high diversity of the population structure of basic demographic characteristics. Using the abundant information contained in the records of the administrative register and the Labour Force Survey (LFS Poland) can greatly expand the research methodology using demographic analysis. This line of analysis is also worth paying special attention because of a uniform methodology for women to keep track of three careers: educational, employment and family. This paper presents the problem of the demographic translation, the relationship between the cohort and transversal analysis based on selected countries of America and Europe and points to new possibilities for the interpretation of population reproduction rates and their potential application in the economic situation.
