Apology of the demography or existing of the demography without people

Summary/Abstract: The article is polemic with the study of professors C. Domański and M. Szreder titled Demografia oderwana od populacji ludzkiej? (Demography without Reference to Human Population?) published in ”Statistical News” No. 12/2010. The author, inspired by the a.m. text as well as by discussion during Conference (”Summer Demography School” in Sopot on the 20–22 September 2010) on the use of the notion ”demography of enterprises”, presents his considerations on changeability of the statistical terminology especially in this very new science field. A question was presented during discussion, if Polish demographers are right addressees of the appeal for the terminology clarity for a new survey area. This very area does not belong to them.
