Summary/Abstract: The occurrence of nepotism within the organization and the negative impact of the phenomenon are analysed in this article. The results of empirical research conducted by the authors of the article are presented. On the basis of the results of the researches carried out by the authors of the article, the model of the occurrence of nepotism in the organization is formed. The formed model of the occurrence of nepotism in the organization consists of four cornerstones, including the processes of employment of a person related by family connections, positive / negative evaluation of the phenomenon of nepotism in respect of the organization, the impact areas of nepotism and the effects of nepotism.
