Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is an attempt of appraisal of level of knowledge, awareness and perceiving of social responsibility by future entrepreneurs. The author has conducted the research among students of Faculty of Economics at Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The research concerns knowledge level on social responsibility concept as well as the estimation and its perception in practice. Taking also into consideration that more and more positive practice in this range shapes the opinions of entrepreneurs, who more willingly become involved in different CSR projects, the author emphasized the importance of managers’ education in the scope of ethical and responsible managing the company. The obtained information will help to conduct more detailed research on social responsibility in SMEs of agribusiness in the country.
