Summary/Abstract: Learning and teaching foreign languages has become a well established tradition in the Romanian system of education. Being self- conscious about teaching English as a foreign language is a main aspect of exploring the reality of our student teachers’ classroom context. The aim of my paper is to find out whether systematic self-reflection will reveal the most challenging aspects during the teaching practice semester of university students in English, to compare and analyse the benefits and drawbacks of the English language teaching practice module according to students’ opinions and suggest solutions.
