Summary/Abstract: This text focuses on methodological problems related to the study of foreign language literatures in the philological majors of SWU Neofit Rilski - Blagoevgrad. The central topic is the possibility that these literatures can still be studied in the traditional format of representing national canon, and if not - what other formats are suitable for this kind of education.
