STUDENT HOMEWORK – GIVING AND CHECKING HOMEWORK AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT

Summary/Abstract: The results presented in the article refer to the pedagogical practice in the field of student homework. I particularly emphasise the problem of differences between the participants of the educational process in viewing the teacher’s actions of giving and checking homework. This article also addresses the problem of parent involvement in homework and factors determining it. The data collected during the research allow to find a correlation between assessment of pedagogical practice in the field of homework and the choice of actionoriented strategies directed to help the child in doing homework.
