The Diplomas and School-Leaving Certificates of the Naval Academy (1892–1946)

Summary/Abstract: Using the data from the archives in the country and some private collections the author makes a retrospective analysis of personal academic documents issued to successful graduates of the Naval Academy during 1892–1946. He reveals the factors contributing to the change of the appearance and content of these documents, the continuity between the emissions of certificates / diplomas and their value as a source for historical science.
