Observations regarding the Early Bronze Age in South-East Europe

Summary/Abstract: The present work is dedicated to the considerations regarding some aspects of the Early Bronze Age in the region of the South-Eastern Europe, but to include also aspects of the transition period from Eneolithic to the Bronze Age in this space. The changes appear as economico-social transformations of the old population, probably reflecting some climate changes and demographic modifications, could also be the possibility of some local migrations, of the religious beliefs, but not excluded the result of revolutions on the spiritual level. The theoretical construction, discussion is not limited to the typology of the objects. The interpretations presented are based on the archaeological material discovered in Folteşti II – Cernavodă II – Orlea Sadovec – Ezero A1 horizon and the Ezerovo, discussions concentrate around chronology, the conclusions are general, referring specifically to the occupations (agriculture, stock-breeding and some handicrafts).
