Summary/Abstract: The article presents the analysis of the peculiarities of the andragogue‘s profession revealing different areas and functions of the professional activity. Therefore, we have marked the activity functions and required competencies of the teacher-andragogue (teacher for adults), analyst-andragogue (researcher), organizerandragogue, tutor/mentor-andragogue. For the better exposition of the peculiarities of andragogue‘s activities we are presenting a hypothetical model that could be used in andragogue‘s education and training.
