Summary/Abstract: ln increasingly frequent debates being held nowadays about admitting children with special needs to ordinary classes and instruction, the emphasis is put on finding out and creating conditions in schools facilitating and supporting the instruction for each individual child, regardless of its individual difficulties and weaknesses. The aim is to bridge the gap between special and ordinary schools, in other words, to try and introduce as many children with special needs as possible into the regular educational process, so that all children could grow up with their peers and in a natural school environment that offers to everybody the same school ing conditions, and that "normal" children could come to know the differences and create a positive attitude to them.
