Summary/Abstract: Today, ever greater quantity of violence present in serials and movies for children on TV and in other media is alienating children, creating new generations of addicts who become insensitive and uninterested in the real life. Children are more and more exposed to virtual experiences which wash their brains and affect their behavior. They are imprisoned in an unreal, virtual world which they cannot easily leave, even if they wanted to, because most of their peers are in this vicious circle. The real, alive communication among the youngsters vanishes giving place to unreal experiences, which they often are not able to control and whose victims first they themselves become and then their family and the nearest community. The insensitivity to the suffering of others is increasingly apparent. That is why cellular phone pictures of bullying and no willingness to help the victim are no surprise. Such behavior is a result of playing war games full of killing which are so real and brutal that everyday exposure to these games brings children to certain dark and insensitive spheres where there is no place for others. Unfortunately, the adults are not immune from these challenges either.
